It is no mistake that God has brought this army together. In the section below, you can see how we're partnering with our community as part of our mission to Connect People to God, others, and the Church. It is our expectation that all members of Connection Point allow their faith to become action.

Connection Point is serving with the city of Sidney and throughout Shelby County, Ohio with key individuals who link us with our partner organizations. This is how we live out of vision to be "An Army of God's Servants Doing the Work of God with Love and Compassion.

  • alpha community center

    Since 1984, Alpha Center has been providing hot meals, an emergency pantry, after-school programs, and emergency & rent assistance. Connection Point members serve weekly preparing and serving breakfast. Connection Point is an annual financial contributor for their services. To request more information, sign up here.

  • agape & the people's garden

    The Peoples' Garden is a community garden, started in 2013, by two members of Connection Point as a means to provide fresh vegetables for people in need. Connection Point is a financial partner with this organization. To volunteer or find out more, sign up here.

  • big brother/big sister

    Being a Big Brother or Big Sister is one of the most enjoyable things you’ll ever do. Not to mention, one of the most fulfilling. You have the opportunity to help shape a child’s future for the better by empowering them to achieve. To find out more, message Pastor Alan here.

  • Elizabeth New Life

    Offering pre-natal care, abstinence education, marriage and healthy family education, and support to women in pregnancy-related crisis, Elizabeth's New Life Center offer's volunteer opportunities every week.   • habitat for humanity

    Pastor Chad serves on the Selection Committee of Miami and Shelby County Habitat for Humanity. Habitat provides homes to qualified candidates who receive a 20 year mortgage, interest free, on a house built by their own sweat-labor and through volunteers.   • REd cross

    The Dayton-Area Chapter seeks to help people prevent, prepare for and respond to natural and other disasters through the immediate mobilization of people and resources and the provision of community, workplace and school based training. 

  • relay for life

    Connection Point members volunteer annually to raise money for the Shelby County Relay for Life. To find out more, talk to Deb Kaufman, or check out the website here.

  • salvation army

    The Salvation Army of Sidney has helped change the lives of so many since it opened its doors in Sidney in 1903 by advocating for the elderly, caring for the homeless, encouraging troubled youth, feeding hungry families, providing disaster relief, assisting the disabled and much more.

  • samaritan works

    Samaritan Works Incorporated is a faith based organization that is dedicated to serving those who struggle with drug or alcohol addictions. Our program promotes faith, hope, structure and accountability to foster sustainable whole-life recovery for men and women. Connection Point is a financial supporter to Samaritan Works.   • the sidney police department

    Connection Point has partnered with Sidney Police, supporting their community resource officers as they connect victims of heroine with services in order to offer them hope and a better life. Officer Mike McRill and Pastor Chad are able to visit with individuals on the street and provide follow-up care.
