Across our Nation

Tim and Kim Wardell, serve as Pass Creek Church of God, Allen, South Dakota, missionaries to the Oglala Lakota Sioux Nation. They live just on the border of the reservation and live alongside the Native American people offering support, a food-pantry, and hope is a culture that battles addiction and a high suicide rate.

Connection Point Church made our first trip to work along with them in September, 2017 to restore two abandoned buildings to functional bunk-houses for men and women. To find out more about the Wardell's and their mission, check out their website on Church of God Ministries here

2018 Mission trip to Allen, SD

June 22-30 we will caravan to the Pine Ridge Reservation to serve alongside Tim and Kim Wardell and the Oglala Lakota Sioux people. Thirty members of Connection Point will laugh, play, and learn with 100 children in a Bible School week that includes some learning, a lot of fun, and some wholesome food. Another team will engage in construction and restoration projects inside the native homes. The construction will include: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and other tasks as needed.
