In-person service details

  • Social distancing will be implemented:
    • Every other pew will be roped off. Please do not sit in roped off pews.
    • Families from the same household may sit together. Please allow 6 feet between families.
    • There will be volunteers in the Worship Center to help your family find a seat that adheres to the 6-foot distancing.
  • With fewer available seats, we will hold two identical services to accommodate all of our families.
    • The first will be at 9:00 a.m.  The second at 10:45 a.m.
    • If we have more attending a service than the Worship Center can accommodate, we will have overflow seating in the Family Life Center with a Facebook Live feed shown on the screen.
  • No congregating, no hugs, no handshakes.
    • Please plan to arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the service you are attending.
    • When you arrive, please do not congregate in the Gathering Place, but proceed to the Worship Center to find a seat.
      • All tables and chairs will be removed from the Gathering Place.
    • When leaving, please go directly to your cars. This is especially important after the first service as those who are attending the second will be arriving soon after.
    • Volunteer greeters, wearing face coverings and gloves will open doors for you and hand you your Weekly Planner & Connect Card. (These two items are also available digitally on our website: connectionpt.org, click on Weekly Planner and Connection Card.)
    • Please maintain a 6-foot separation from other families at all times.
  • Limited Kids Connect is available as listed below. Visit our Kids Connect Check-in area to register your children for the day.

  • During the Response time after Pastor Alan’s message, if you would like prayer with someone, he will invite you to go to the kitchen across from the women’s restroom.
    • Members of our Board of Elders and a Pastor will be available to pray with you, maintaining as much social distancing as possible.
    • Those praying with you will be wearing face coverings.
    • If you would like to pray alone, please feel free to use either altar, maintaining six foot separation from others.
  • The entire church has been cleaned and disinfected.
    • All hard surfaces – doors, tables, chairs, light switches were cleaned within the first week the church building was closed.

    • The church is regularly cleaned early in the week and prior to Sunday Service.
  • Between services, the pew backs, altars, door handles, and restroom sinks will be wiped down with Clorox wipes or something similar.
  • We encourage you to follow your own convictions regarding your family’s return:
    • If you would like to wear a face covering, please feel comfortable to do so.
    • If you are part of an at-risk population and are not comfortable coming back, we certainly understand. Please continue to watch us on Facebook Live at https://www.facebook.com/connectionpointcog/.
    • If you are not feeling well or have a temperature, please do not attend.

No new activities will be taking place at the church building until further notice.  Some smaller prayer and connecting groups (10 or less people) are starting to meet at the church. No groups from outside the church (i.e., Coin Club) will be meeting at the church building until further notice.
