Mission and vision

Our mission is to

"Connect people to God, others, and the Church."

Our Vision is to be

"An army of God's servants doing the work of God with love and compassion."

We do this because of

The Great Commandments

Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'  Matthew 22:37-39 (NIV)

We do this because of

The Great Commission

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)

We do this because

Our faith demands Action

In Matthew 28:19 Jesus gives a very clear commandment to all of His disciples about what they are to do, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”  We are called to “Go”and teach others about the love of Jesus Christ.

We seek to follow the The Great Commission by going out into the world and by building relationships with those who are disconnected. We have created an environment where people who are far from God can be drawn close to God and His people.

Not only are we called to “go and make disciples”, but we have been chosen to follow the Great Commandments by loving God and loving others. Our first priority at Connection Point is to love God. When we begin to love God, we are then able to show true love to others.
