Serving Saturday - August 10th

One of our core values is SERVICE.  Take this opportunity to SERVE and show God's love in a real and practical way on Saturday August 10th.  We will be working at Geib Pavilion - the park we adopted, we will be handing out reusable grocery bags at Sidney Foodtown, and we will be helping spread mulch at the church building.  Watch this space and the Weekly Planner for more details!

prayer & the word

At Connection Point, we value prayer and the Bible.

Prayer is one half of a two way communication with God.

We communicate to God by praying. God's Word is how He talks back to us.

YET it's when we read our Bible and Pray the Word that we begin to understand God's plan for our lives.

We, as a church family, are reading through the New Testament in one year, from September 2018 to September of 2019!

You can find an overview of our reading plan here

If you would like to subscribe for a daily scripture reminder and prayer by someone from our church, give us your email and we will get you signed up.  Be sure to check your junk emails - sometimes the prayer jumps over there.

People matter to us

Whatever your life story, no matter what your past, you matter to us and you are welcome here. We're just normal people doing life together and finding meaning as our individual stories weave together as part of God's story.

Jesus is the subject

Jesus said, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it, love your neighbor as yourself." This is why we believe that people matter and that we all need God.

Jesus also told us to "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." This is why we are serious about both faith and action.

We are located at 1510 Campbell Road, Sidney, Ohio 45365. Which is located at the corner of 4th Street and Campbell Road near the Sidney High School.

Our Sunday service begins at 10:15am. Feel free to come early and grab something from our coffee bar. Our Mid-Week Family Connect occurs during the school year on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00pm.
