Serving Saturday

Saturday November 2nd, 9 a.m. - 12:00 noon

Serving is one of our Core Values at Connection Point.  Quarterly we go out into the community for Serving Saturday offering Random Acts of Kindness.  This quarter we are raking leaves for homeowners, distributing reusable grocery bags at Anna Market and paying for loads of laundry at Ye Olde Wash House in Sidney (11 a.m. - 1 p.m.)

"Pieces of the Christian Life"

Does life sometimes feel like a puzzle and you are missing some of the pieces? Join us each week for a 9-week series beginning October 6th where we will explore the Pieces of the Christian Life. You will receive a piece of a puzzle weekly.  The center piece is Jesus Christ because He is the foundation of our faith.  Each week we will add to this puzzle other essential pieces you need to grow in your walk with the Lord.

Halloween Outreach

Thursday October 31st

Stop by for a donut and some hot chocolate on Trick or Treat night!  We will be in Sidney at 122 W. Parkwood St. and in Anna at 207 Diamond Dr.

Monthly scripture memory

God tells us in Psalm 119:11 "I have hidden Your Word in my heart that I might not sin against you."  We hide God's Word in our heart by memorizing Scripture. And God's Word is one of our five values, so we are embarking on a 12-month Scripture memory experience.

October's Memory Verse is Hebrews 13:8. "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever."  Hebrews 13:8

Join the Connection Point Family in memorizing Hebrews 13:8.

Operation Christmas child

Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan's Purse, an international relief organization. Their mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. They ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S. Follow this link to see some videos to help you understand a bit more about OCC and instructions on packing your shoebox. Pick up your shoebox sized plastic tub today in the Gathering Place! We would like to pack and send 100+ shoeboxes this year -- deadline to return your filled tub is November 3rd.

People matter to us

Whatever your life story, no matter what your past, you matter to us and you are welcome here. We're just normal people doing life together and finding meaning as our individual stories weave together as part of God's story.

Jesus is the subject

Jesus said, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it, love your neighbor as yourself." This is why we believe that people matter and that we all need God.

Jesus also told us to "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." This is why we are serious about both faith and action.

We are located at 1510 Campbell Road, Sidney, Ohio 45365. Which is located at the corner of 4th Street and Campbell Road near the Sidney High School.

Our Sunday service begins at 10:15am and will last about an hour and 15 minutes. Feel free to come early and grab something from our coffee bar. Our Mid-Week Family Connect occurs during the school year on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 pm.
